Desh Foudation by genelia & Riteish deshmukh has extended a heartwarming invitation to over 200 pediatric cancer patients and childhood cancer survivors taking treatment at the ImPaCCT Foundation at Tata Memorial Centre, for a special screening of Mumbai Film Company’s Raja Shivaji on Tuesday, 12th May, at INOX PVR, Mumbai.
Ritiesh Vilasrao Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh’s Mumbai Film Company, the production banner behind Raja Shivaji, continues its strong streak of impactful storytelling. After Balak Palak, Yellow, Lai Bhaari and Ved, Mumbai Film Company has highlighted a growing appetite for stories rooted in real people, emotions, and cultural nuances. The initiative aims to give children currently undergoing cancer treatment a joyful day filled with entertainment, inspiration, and togetherness away from the challenges of hospital life. The children are eagerly looking forward to the experience, which promises to create cherished memories for them and their families. Adding to the excitement, childhood cancer survivor Shiv More will attend the event dressed as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, symbolizing courage, resilience, and triumph over adversity values deeply connected to the journey of every childhood cancer warrior.
