- PUBERTY
Puberty is the time when kids mature into young adults through physical and emotional changes. The emotional changes of puberty can be challenging for both kids and their parents.
The girl child may be –
- be very focused on the way they look and dress
- care a lot about what their peers think about them
- become moodier
- want more privacy
- focus more on their friends rather than family
- show less affection toward parents
The parents must watch for signs that your child may need your help. Puberty can also be a time when things like anxiety, depression, and eating disorders show up.
- PREGNANCY
Pregnancy is the second most important stage in a woman’s life which brings about a lot of changes both physically and mentally.
There are many mental health problems that a woman might face-

- try calming breathing exercises if you feel overwhelmed.
- do physical activity if you can – it can improve your mood and help you sleep.
The body of a pregnant woman slowly increases its energy requirements to help fuel the changes and growth taking place in both the mother and baby. Metabolic rates increase substantially by just 15 weeks’ gestation and peak in the third trimester during the greatest growth phase.
The right diet consultation is crucial for both the physical and mental well being of the mother.
- MENOPAUSE
Changes in your hormones during menopause can impact a women’s mental health as well as their physical health. Right diet and exercise helps a woman to manage the below symptoms-
Menopausal symptoms may include:

- Childhood & Adolescence (Age 0- Age 22)
During this phase of development, adolescents begin to transition from childhood to adulthood. Issues of independence, identity, sexuality. They undergo striking physical, intellectual, and emotional changes. Nutritious and Wholesome diet should be taken in this stage of life. Avoiding high caffeine and high sugar items shall keep their minds regulated.
- Early Adulthood (Age 17-Age 45)
During the early adulthood stage an individual reaches physical maturity (by the age of 28). This is known as maturation. Adults have reached their peak level of physical strength and their full height and weight by this time. As the adult reaches the end of this life stage, stamina and strength start to slowly decline.
High energy and body building foodstuffs should be included in this stage.
- Middle Adulthood (Age 40- Age 65)
During this time, people experience many physical changes that signal that the person is aging, including gray hair and hair loss, wrinkles and age spots, vision and hearing loss, and weight gain, commonly called the middle age spread.
Low testosterone, erectile dysfunction or benign prostatic hyperplasia, have begun to share center stage with chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
Nutritious and Wholesome diet should be taken in this stage of life. Avoiding high caffeine and high sugar items shall keep their bodies away from lifestyle disorders.
- Late Adulthood (Age 60 plus)
Mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia or dementia may develop in this stage. There is negativity associated with this stage of life that tends to focus on deterioration, dependency, and end to learning. Right diet along with counseling helps to ease any distress in this stage of life.
