About the author: An author is a person of varied interests and an avid traveler. Though she has corporate experience, she did her master’s in English Literature to bring out her writing skills.

Summary of the book: The book is about a girl who is filled with a deep inferiority complex. She struggles with her emotions and runs after people. She is laughed at due to her limited body movements. She struggles and survives the darkest phase.

1. Can you tell us a little about your book?

It is about a girl who suffers from disabilities, complexes, and emotional abandonment. How she takes things in her stride and moves on.

2. Is there a specific event that inspired this story or was this an out-of-the-blue idea?

The realization of principle of karma bought this story idea long ago

3. What got you writing in the first place?

I use to write tit bits and last year I decided to compile everything.

4. Which part of your story connects the most with you? Why?

I have written stories told by my grandmother and the rat and cat metaphor. These have actually helped me come out of my struggling phase.

5. What makes your book the one to read?

If one is looking for how to carry ones leash in his/her mouth and move forward.

6. What was the best advice you got while writing?

Writing itself is big achievement so put down your words and don’t worry.

7. Who’s your all-time favourite author? Which book of his/hers made you fall in love with them?

I love the classics. Books written by Jane Austen, charles dickens, Emily bronte. . Apart from these I love paul couhlo, Sudha murthy , ruskin bond. My favourate books are pride and prejudice , sense and sensibility by jane Austen, wuthering heights by Emily bronte. I liked Alchemist, winner stands alone by Paul coeuhlo and house of cards by Sudha murthy.

8. What is your evergreen tip to the writers out there?

Don’t worry or doubt your writing abilities. Just write.

9. What was your hardest scene to write?

When Ria comes to know of her disease.

10. Do you have another plot brewing?

Yes
