  1. Is it a historical story?

Ans- This is not a historical story, but a fictional story.

2. Can you share any interesting aspects of this book?

Ans- The stories told by my grandfather in my childhood helped me in writing this story.

3. What inspired you to write this story?

Ans- I always wondered besides the British, Indian Politicians, and revolutionaries how were the ordinary people doing before independence. How a large number of people resigned from their government jobs at the call of Mahatma Gandhi. These thoughts inspired me to write this story.

4. Can you share more about your inspiration?

Ans- My grandfather was born much before independence. He had lived through a period before independence. He told the stories of the suffering and sacrifice of the ordinary people of his time before 1947. Sankalp carries certain impressions from them.

5. What advice do you want to give to young writers?

Ans- Often people ask my advice to fresh writers. I advise them to read more and write. regularly.
