The government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working to reform the country’s highly controlled education sector so that Indian students can earn international degrees at a reasonable price and to promote India as a desirable international study destination. Additionally, the measure will make it easier for foreign institutions to reach the nation’s young people.

Izhar Khan added that Indian youngsters are in much need of foreign exposure to build capacity and nurture talent which can both survive and thrive in this globalized world.

Despite producing CEOs for firms like Microsoft Corp. and Alphabet Inc., India’s institutions and colleges consistently do poorly in international rankings. To become more competitive and close the expanding gap between college curricula and market demand, the nation must expand its education sector. According to the Global Talent Competitiveness Index of 2022, which assesses a country’s capacity to develop, entice, and retain talent, it now holds 101st place out of 133 countries.

Indian universities are not in the top 500 and do not produce quality research work for them to build research capacity they must have to learn from foreign universities and develop that culture in India, Izhar Khan further added.

Koursesabroad.com organizes webinars in collaboration with foreign universities to make Indian students aware of their admission requirements and procedures. It also conducts offline seminars and awareness lectures in different colleges.

NEP 2020 policy outlines that India wants to become Vishwa Guru but India alone cannot fulfill this dream. So In order to realize its vision it is important that India expands its global footprint through such initiatives, collaborations, and partnerships.
