Born in 1979 to Mr. Chhaganlal Jain and Mrs. Jamku in Bengaluru, India, Dr. Amit Jain has set a world record to be the youngest doctor in the world to give a principle and practice in field of Diabetic foot in medical literature. Dr. Amit Jain was 35 years old when he had published in 2014 his new principle and practice in diabetic foot.
Currently, He is working as a Consultant and Head at Amit Jain’s Institute of Diabetic foot & Wound Care, which is an eponymous wing named after Amit Jain as a mark of respect for his phenomenal record-breaking work in literature in Brindhavvan Areion Hospital in Bengaluru.
Dr. Amit Jain, who was also formerly professor in surgery, dedicated significant years to this neglected field and worked tirelessly day in and out to give this principle and practice and this world record is set in different records books including India’s World Records 2023. The jury members at India’s World Records, after reviewing the published literature and documents were mesmerized to see how a busy surgeon could work with determination to postulate a principle and practice in diabetic foot over years of hard work and this is rare in Indian literature for one to have such an original innovate work.
