Taking a big step, the central government has blocked 14 messenger mobile apps. These include mobile apps such as Vikrame, SafeSwiss, and Enigma. It is believed that these mobile apps had become a threat to the security of the country, so it has been decided to block them.

According to sources, 14 mobile apps have been blocked following the recommendation of investigative agencies. These apps were being used by terrorist groups in Jammu and Kashmir. These include apps like Crypviser, Mediafire, Briar, Nandbox, IMO, Second Line, Zangi, and Threema. According to the reports, in the investigation of the security agencies, it was found that the terrorists of Kashmir use these apps to interact with the ground workers. These apps do not have representatives in India.
Mobile Apps Block: No contact with App Management
Reports suggest that these apps have no doer in India. According to Indian law, no representative of them is present in India to give their information. Security agencies also tried to contact the app developers but without success. They do not even have an office in India. This is the reason why the government has blocked them.

The central government has already taken action and blocked hundreds of mobile apps. The latest case is related to security. According to the central investigative agencies, these apps were being used indiscriminately by terrorist groups. Central agencies continuously monitor such apps and action is also taken if needed. The government has already prepared a law to make digital apps accountable.
