Renowned actor, film producer and social activist Dr. Arushi Nishank, met Uttarakhand’s chief minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami with representatives from the prominent international studio Disney+Hotstar.
Arushi has always been keen to promote Uttarakhand’s art & culture through cinema. Arushi, who rose to fame by being part of three music videos of T Series and Zee Music, will be seen in the film ‘Tarini’.
Arushi Nishank, who runs her own production house Himshrii films met honorable CM today to seek state support for her new upcoming project with Disney+Hotstar. The Web Series based on Uttarakhand Culture and ‘Pahad’ will be soon launched by Disney. Honourable Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami shared the positive response and was very keen to support the filmmakers who’ll be going to promote Uttarakhand.
The entire team led by Dr. Arushi Nishank showed interest in promoting the state through the forms of TV, cinema and web series.
Arushi, seen in one of the hit music videos of series “Wafa Na Raas Aye” sung by Jubin Nautiyal, collected overwhelming response from the audience. The song has garnered 295 million views on T-series official YouTube channel till date.
Arushi is a persuasive social activist and environmental conservationist who is passionate and driven about causes like the preservation of the river Ganga via her founded NGO, Sparsh Ganga, making the Ganga pollution free via the Namami Ganga campaign, planting more trees to save the earth, and more.
