Summary Of The Book: The stories in this book are figments of my imagination. As an avid reader myself, I enjoy immersing myself in a world where the possibilities are endless. With magical cloaks, friendly wizards, eerie coincidences, and unpleasant surprises, this book is sure to transport you to a happy place. I invite you, dear reader, to come take a peek into my little make-believe world.

1. Can you tell us a little about your book?

I love to imagine, and daydreaming is one of my favourite hobbies. Some of my imagination evolved into stories, and the stories became a book. This book has tidbits from my life as well as the colours of my imagination. No more spoilers, though!

2. Is there a specific event that inspired this story or was this an out-of-the-blue idea?

I have been writing since I was nine-during the lockdown, to be specific. As I said, no school meant more time to imagine, so I began scribbling down some stories. Then, I met Zabir in 2021, and he suggested the idea for the book, which consists of a few short stories I’d written.

3. What got you writing in the first place?

Boredom in the lockdown. The lockdown was surely depressing, but it had its good side as well! I found it too sad to be apart from my friends, so the pen and paper took their place.

4. What was your impression of your first draft when you read it?

It needed a lot of editing and mending. Zabir and I have tried our level best to improve the stories and bring out the best in them.

5. Which part of your story connects the most with you? Why?

The last short story is “The most bittersweet vacation ever”. It is inspired by a trip we took to Holland and Belgium. It has dealt with friendship, heartbreaks, and the delight of travelling, thus making this trip a “bittersweet” one.

6. What makes your book the one to read?

The book has captured the world from the point of view of a goofy teenager. With magic, friendship, love, and heartbreak, I think this book will take one on a beautiful journey through the world of fantasy.

7. What was the best advice you got while writing?

Use simple, grasping, and small sentences and words so that everyone can read it without any fuss. Making a reader comfortable with a book on their lap is the most important role of an author.

8. Who’s your all-time favourite author? Which book of his/hers made you fall in love with them?

I usually enjoy the writings of Sudha Murty, Ruskin Bond, Enid Blyton, Roald Dahl, and Chetan Bhagat. It is very difficult to choose, but ‘Five Point Someone’ is my personal favourite.

9. What is your evergreen tip to the writers out there?

Imagine, observe, daydream, and be inspired. Honestly, it is better to be a little absent-minded when a plot is brewing in your mind! I am really small to give any advice, but if you allow yourself to do these four things, then you will slowly become thoughtful. And when you have these thoughts, knit them together to form sentences. And, Voila! You have written a story!

10. What was your hardest scene to write?

In the part in the first story, ‘Six Wizards of the World,” where the wizards were named The meaning of their names is according to the jobs they’ve been given in order to protect the world. Also, there was a part where all of them were arguing at once. It was really confusing but funny at the same time.

11. Do you have another plot brewing?

I love writing. So, yes! I am writing many more stories, and I am willing to share them all with my beloved readers in the future!
