What is Global NCAP
Crash testing of vehicles is done from time to time by Global NCAP and their safety rating is issued. Global NCAP i.e. Global New Car Assessment Program is an organization that independently rates new cars by crash testing them on several parameters. This organization gives a rating of 0-5 stars to the tested cars.

Just like the Global NCAP, a car testing organization is going to be started in India too, which will be called Bharat NCAP. Bharat NCAP will work as a consumer-centric platform. With this, guidelines will be made based on the emission norms applicable in the country and the climate here and the safety test of the vehicles will be done.
