Jain can influence witnesses: HC

Recently, the Delhi High Court rejected the bail plea of Satyendar Jain. The court said that he had held important positions and could influence the witnesses. Upholding the decision of the trial court, the bench of Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma said that there was no illegality or error in the said order. The court also refused to grant bail to the other accused Ankush Jain and Vaibhav Jain in the case.

Earlier on March 22, Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma had reserved his judgment after hearing the arguments of ED (Enforcement Directorate) and Jain’s lawyers. Please tell that Satyendar Jain had earlier told the court that no case was made out against him and he had fully cooperated in the investigation and there was no need to continue his imprisonment after the charge sheet was filed.
