The show is being launched under the banner of AP Production, a new entertainment venture founded by Pritesh Patel, founder of Dubai-based real estate company Akshar Real Estate LLC, along with renowned businessman Alpesh Patel. The UAE Rockstar will be entirely hosted in Dubai and is designed as a high-scale music and dance-based reality show with international appeal. The format has been carefully structured to give equal opportunity to participants of different age groups, as the competition will be conducted in two categories — Junior Group and Senior Group. For the first time in a reality show, every selected contestant will perform their own individual private song, specially composed by well-known Bollywood music composers.
