PM Narendra Modi will gift first Vande Bharat train to Odisha

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give a big gift to Odisha and West Bengal on Thursday. PM Modi will inaugurate the Puri-Howrah Vande Bharat Express. Along with this, the PM will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate railway projects worth about Rs 8,000 crore through video conference.

All kinds of preparations have been completed for this program. The Governor will go to Puri to participate in the Prime Minister’s program organized by the Ministry of Railways. He will again leave for Haryana on 19th at 10 am.

The Governor will return to Odisha on the 22nd as per his earlier schedule. Although there has been discussion in the media about the expansion of the cabinet, but the Chief Minister’s Office has not received any information about it from the Raj Bhavan. Therefore, there is little possibility of expansion of the Council of Ministers during this one-day stay of the Governor.

Chief Minister will also be present

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will be present in the Ministry of Railways program in Puri today and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in virtual mode. Pandian is also expected to participate in the program along with the Chief Minister. With the commencement of the Puri-Howrah Vande Express service, the people of both the states will be benefitted.

Puri – Howrah Vande Bharat Route

Odisha’s first Vande Bharat will be of 16 coaches. The train will stop at Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khurda stations.

Vande Bharat will run six days a week

Vande Bharat Express will run six days a week except Thursday. It will leave Howrah at 6.10 am and reach Puri at 12.35 pm. In return it will leave Puri at 1.50 pm and reach Howrah at 8.30 pm.
