Reshu, is an aspiring entrepreneur. Owning an experience of more than 6 years in marketing. At the age of 23 trained more than 7000+ youngsters across the country. And, working with some of the top brands of the world. But she still believes, she doesn’t follow a passion. She creates it.

Let’s dive into the interview with the author to know the journey of “No Passion”.

Can you tell us a little about your book?

The book is called No Passion, it basically debates the stereotype of following your passion in order to live a happy and meaningful life. But, I want to argue. What do people like me – Who don’t have any particular passion do? This narrative of following your passion creates pressure to have one.

I am trying to convey through this book, that it’s good if you don’t have any particular passion. Because that ultimately makes you unbiased towards exploring the new.

Is there a specific event that inspired this story or was this an out-of-the-blue idea?

My entire life, apparently.

What got you writing in the first place?

 A lie.

What was your impression of your first draft when you read it?

I wrote my first draft. I finished writing the book and then it got deleted. So, this time I am launching part 2 of this book. While part 1 never got launched.

Which part of your story connects the most with you? Why?

Blessed in disguise.

What makes your book the one to read?

Relatability. I have written this book, from the subjective point of view of what every single individual might be feeling right now.

What was the best advice you got while writing?

 I gave myself one- If you are writing and they will pay to read. Be honest.

Who’s your all-time favorite author? Which book of his/hers made you fall in love with them?

 Nely Galan – Self-made.

 What is your evergreen tip to the writers out there?

 Be who you are, the clearer and more transparent the more respect for the work.

What was your hardest scene to write?

 Acknowledgment to my grandfather. The note of love.
