Mt. Everest and Mt. Lhotse- Anil Vasave, student of Khandesh Education Society College of Education and Physical Education, Jalgaon, ready for international expedition. The world’s highest peak Mount Everest at 8848.46 m and the world’s fourth highest peak at Mt. Lhotse at 8516, Anil Vasave has been selected for this expedition which has given him a double chance to set a world record. His expedition under the guidance of Everesteer Anand Bansode will be from 03 April 2024 to 07 June 2024. Anil has so far climbed the highest peak in Africa (Kilimanjaro) and the highest peak in Europe (Mount Elburs) and Mount Everest base camp.
Kala Pathar is the first tribal youth to perform. Along with him satopanth, He is also trying to become the first ever athlete from Nandurbar district who has also achieved this peak. He has many world records to his name. Climbing the twin 8000m peaks, the highest peak in the world and the fourth highest peak in the world, is a proud achievement. This expedition will add fame to our country. He will need 32 lakhs for this double eight thousand campaign. He expressed his expectations from various companies and NGOs.
Talking to the press he said “I cannot express in words the support that Nandurbar hol people have given me in a devotional state saying that I am not only thankful but forever indebted to the people of all ages who have supported me in this previous campaign even though the campaign is next year.”
He is preparing for it from now and expressed his belief that the dream should come true in any case.
