 Lawrence Joseph,

  1. Can you tell us a little about your book?
I wrote this book in 2020, within 50 to 60 days I completed the story which contains 90,000 words and it took almost 3 years to launch this book in the market. Many times I gave up due to money constrain but my mom & friends always supported me to launch the book as soon as possible.
  2. Is there a specific event that inspired this story or was this an out of the blue idea?
My friend gifted me a book and he insisted so much to read this book. He is my close friend so I thought lets read it. And I loved the story so much within a week I completed it. After reading the book I got an Idea even I can write the story. But from where I should start? And I started writing my story from childhood and my parents struggled to give us better life.
  3. Which part of your story connects the most with you? Why?
My childhood, my school days, My parents struggle. Because those memories still make me laugh.
  4. What makes your book the one to read?
If you want to feel how the unknown journey to a unknown country looks like they will definitely like my book.
  5. What was the best advice you got while writing?
Give time to yourself to think and write. Never count pages and words while writing it might demotivate you. I learn always discuss with 2 to 3 friends or either of your parents about your story their appreciation can motivate you in life.
  6. Who’s your all-time favourite author? Which book of his/hers made you fall in love with them?
    The kite runner/ Khaled Hosseini
  7. What is your evergreen tip to the writers out there?
If you are a new writer don’t tell many people until you don’t finish the work. People are next to you who can demotivate you at any point of time.
  8. What was your hardest scene to write?
Ending of the story was the hardest scene to write. I really want to end the story in a emotional way.
  9. Do you have another plot brewing?
Yes, definitely will write something most of the India won’t know about it.
