This book manifests what the poet experienced at different stages of life. Durobhas is an anthology of both English and Bengali poetry.
2. Is there a specific event that inspired this story or was this an out-of-the-blue idea?
I have been writing poetry since my school days—a few got published, but I hesitated to publish them as a book. My friends and colleagues compelled me to publish. I am obliged.
3. What got you writing in the first place?
Love poetry.
4. What was your impression of your first draft when you read it
Many are published, and some are from my diaries. It’s my take and experience; hence, I have no inhibitions.
5. What makes your book the one to read?
It’s simple yet intricate underground.
6. Who’s your all-time favorite author? Which book of his/hers made you fall in love with them?
Albert Camus. Absurd, philosophical writing, and one of the finest authors.
