The BCCI has announced that Dream11 will be the new sponsor of Team India’s jersey. It would appear on the jersey of the Indian team for the next 4 years. Earlier in the year 2019, Byju’s team became the sponsor of the jersey, whose agreement has ended. The Dream11 logo will now appear on the jersey of the Indian team going on a tour of the West Indies.
Dream11 replaced BYJU’s
Dream11 has replaced the online learning platform Byju’s. In 2019, Byju’s became the sponsor of the Indian team for 4 years. Now in its place Dream11 has become the sponsor of the Indian cricket team for the next 4 years. It has become the sponsor of the jerseys of both the women’s and men’s teams. Dream XI logo will start appearing on the jersey of the Indian team on the tour of West Indies. Dream11 is associated with BCCI since the year 2020 and it also appeared during IPL. Now Team India has got a new sponsor for the next 4 years.
Team India’s jersey kit sponsor adidas
The Board of Control for Cricket in India had earlier made Adidas the sponsor of the jersey kit of the Indian team. This agreement has been done for the next 5 years. Adidas’ agreement ended in 2020, after which Adidas again got sponsorship for 5 years. During this, companies like MPL and Killer became the sponsors of the team jersey kit. Since the ODI World Cup is going to be held in India, Adidas has again chosen the Indian team as it will be a big promotion for their company.
ODI World Cup will start from October
ODI World Cup is going to start in India from 5 October 2023. Its final match will be played on 19 November. This time a total of 10 teams will be a part of the competition. Each team will get to play 9 matches in the league stage and the top 4 teams will advance to the semi-finals.
