A district-level boomerang sports competition was organized in Uttar Pradesh, more than 40 players participated in 4 different categories and performed well.
The chief guest and special guests along with the audience watching during the event were quite surprised to see this sports competition and why not? Boomerang is one such sport, when a boomerang is thrown in the right direction and in the right way in the air, it turns back and returns to the thrower.
Under the aegis of Daniel’s Boomerang, several workshops were held across the country. Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh was also one such place where awareness workshops were arranged for the last several months to spread awareness on this sport, as a result of which for the first time a district-level boomerang competition was organized in the district.
Aditya, Habiba, Anurag, Monika, Nandni, Rajkumar, and Aamir along with other players mesmerized the audience with their excellent performance.
During a conversation with the organizer of the event, Daniel Joshua told us that it is his resolution to spread awareness about this game in different states of the country and also to promote new players and new employment.
As the chief guest, Anandnagar Mayor Rajesh Jaiswal addressed the players from the stage and gave them good wishes. Guests of honor Sangeeta Ferrow from Jhansi and Shanu Masih from Chhattisgarh gave them many best wishes and congratulated the team for the very successful organizing of this unique sports event. The organizer of the event, Daniel shared his plans on organizing other such events in the near future in other districts and states and also announced to make every possible contribution.
