Jaipur : A series of written complaints submitted to state departments in Rajasthan have raised concerns about the conduct of three senior members of consultancy firm Ernst & Young (EY) working on major government projects. The allegations pertain to suspected breaches of protocol, improper financial influence, and irregularities during project evaluations.
The representations claim that Siddharth Dutta, serving on the Chief Minister’s Service Delivery Project, may have disclosed sensitive information and may have participated in non-compliant financial activities. These claims have not been independently verified and are expected to undergo formal scrutiny.
Another EY official, Akhilesh Saurakhia, faces allegations of unauthorized dealings with government functionaries. Complaints further state that he and his team member Aditya Goel intimidated or pressured staff from other partner organisations. Personnel from the BIP unit are said to have acknowledged such instances informally, though no official statement has been released.
A separate set of complaints linked to the Skills Department accuses Gitesh Gunjan of influencing the outcome of a bidding process. According to the allegations, inducements may have been offered, resulting in a reported 11-mark shift in technical scores. The charges, however, remain allegations pending verification.
As the matter gains media attention, journalists have approached concerned departments seeking clarity. Several media houses have formally urged that a structured inquiry be established so the allegations can be assessed transparently. Officials have indicated that due process will be followed before any action is taken.
