1. What inspired you to write this book?
Statements by corrupt politicians pretending to be followers of freedom fighters and social reformers—while exploiting their names for selfish motives—were the main inspiration. Filing defamation suits has become fashionable anyway. I wondered what it would be like if those whose names are being misused actually came back to Earth and filed such defamation suits themselves.
2. Is the story based on any specific time or event?
There is nothing time-bound or specific. The inspiration again comes from statements by corrupt politicians claiming to follow freedom fighters and social reformers while exploiting their names for personal gain. I imagined what would happen if those great personalities returned to Earth and filed defamation suits against such misuse.
Also, I am not computer-savvy, so I write everything with pen and paper.
3. Are the characters real or fictional?
The characters are fictional, although the names of freedom fighters are real. Their journey from heaven back to Earth is purely imaginary.
4. What message do you want readers to take from the book?
I strongly feel that the hypocrisy of politicians needs to be exposed. Politics has unfortunately become a field where even the most honest individuals are comparatively less corrupt.
5. How much of the story reflects reality?
It is an imaginary world. For example, Rajghat is a real place, but a group of youth asking Bapu for a selfie is imaginary. The court setup is real, but Bapu being harassed by touts to get an affidavit prepared is imaginary—though it is close to reality.
Similarly, an interview with an actress playing Savitri reflects real situations. Her advocacy of live-in relationships may be the writer’s creation, but it is inspired by contemporary realities.
6. What genre does the book belong to?
The genre is satire. Politicians, through their acts and statements, constantly provide material that enriches satire. They have skillfully dressed their corrupt deeds in the attire of respectability.
7. What kind of tension or conflict does the book explore?
A reflection of the tension lies in the inability to do anything meaningful. Democracy has sometimes become a license to curb genuine rebellion.
Interesting moments arise when residents of heaven demand to visit Earth to file defamation suits, because their actions were far less corrupt than those of the present-day opportunists misusing their names.

Traditional storytelling was relaxing, while AI, search engines, and the internet are leading society toward continuous tension and fragmentation. Readers deserve fresh ideas instead of fashionable and repetitive plots like “saas-bahu” stories or predictable romances such as “Sunil met Sunit” or “Santosh met Sania.”
