The people opposing the film’s release who were of the thought that it is another propaganda movie with the intention of disturbing peace & harmony between religious communities pleaded to the Supreme Court requesting a ban on the release of “The Kerala Story”.

The Supreme Court of India on 2nd May, Tuesday repudiated hearing the plea as the film had been cleared by the censor board & got the certificate to be released publicly in cinemas.

Further, The Court said that if someone wants to file a case or challenge the release of the film then they should go against the Censor Board certification for allowing this movie.

The cast and crew of the film have come out in support of the movie, backing the narrative that the movie is not made with the intention of religion vs religion, but rather humanity vs terrorism.

#TheKeralaStory isn’t about, elections, agenda, religion vs religion.. it is about something much bigger. LIFE and DEATH ! It is about Terrorism vs Humanity. Calling it propaganda is covering up the story of each girl whose life was destroyed
