IIT Patna PhD scholar received Author of the year literary award from Ukiyoto publishers

Bhagya Shree Nadamala, a JRF Research Scholar from the Indian Institute of Technology Patna, got international recognition for her debut novel “Sita’s Introspection in Uttara Ramayana” in a literary event organized by Ukiyoto Publishing house on 5th November at Taj Vivanta, Hyderabad.

The publisher is based out in Toronto, Canada has a presence in 70 plus countries with a head office in Hyderabad. Her book “Sita’s Introspection in Uttara Ramayana” was awarded in the ‘Best Author of the year- Fiction 2022’ category this year. The gala event had the august gathering of writers and film producers. International filmmaker Mr. Anshul Sinha gave away an award to the author.

In the Award, acceptence speech author said that “Sita Mata is not a mere blind follower of Rama. She is much beyond that. Perilous forest, not a person who is known, swinging between a hard past and an unknown future, Sita rose above every difficulty. My novel is an attempt to showcase Sita in all her prowess, abilities, and capabilities to the modern Gen Z”.

Bhagya Shree dedicated this award to her Ph.D. Research Supervisor Dr. Priyanka Tripathi, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Patna.
