What inspired you to write this particular book, and how did the idea for the story come to you?
I came up with the idea for this book two years ago while talking with a friend about our love for fantasy novels. That conversation inspired me to start writing a book of my own—one that could transport readers into a completely new world.
Can you share some insights into your writing process? Do you follow a specific routine or have any rituals?
Whenever I begin writing, I start by thinking about the plot. I believe the plot is the most important part of any story, as it makes the story interesting and worth reading.
I don’t follow a strict routine or timetable. I usually write when I get a good idea for the storyline or when I feel inspired to write.
The characters in your book are distinct and memorable. Are they based on real people?
While developing the characters, I intended to create them entirely from my imagination and not base them on real people. However, after finishing the book, I realized that I had unintentionally made some characters similar to people in my life.
Your book focuses on adventure and fantasy. What motivated you to explore this theme?
This book revolves around adventure and fantasy because I truly enjoy reading books from this genre. After reading several fantasy novels, I developed a clear understanding of how to create such stories.
I hope that the bravery of the characters inspires readers.
The world-building feels immersive. How did you create the setting?
The world in this book is entirely original and not based on any specific place or event. Interestingly, while writing, I didn’t have to consciously build the setting—it came to me quite naturally.
How do you balance originality with genre expectations?
While writing, I make sure my ideas stay fresh and original so the story doesn’t feel predictable. At the same time, I ensure the story aligns with the genre by including essential fantasy elements in the plot.
I don’t find it challenging to keep the story unique—when I’m in the flow, originality comes naturally.
How do you maintain pacing and keep readers engaged?
To maintain pacing and keep the story engaging, I re-read each chapter and try to view it from a reader’s perspective. If any part feels slow or boring, I revise it to add more tension and interest.
How do you see storytelling evolving in today’s digital world?
Today, media is everywhere—people communicate, shop, and share stories online. However, the joy of reading a book is completely different.
A short video cannot match the impact a book can have. The beauty of a book lies not just in what it tells, but in how it tells the story. A good book leaves a lasting impression on the reader.
