Teenz O Sutra By Authors Ashish Sinha and Girish Verma

  1. What motivated you to write this specific novel, and how did the plot develop?

[Girish]: The tale opens, as you may have noticed, with a fifteen-year-old girl asking her father, “Am I not beautiful? So why haven’t I received any proposals yet? In another instance, a 12-year-old confides in her mother as his friend admits to him, “I have a crush on you,” and another youngster laments to her mother, “I broke up today!” These incidents, which are the result of quick changes in society, have raised a lot of questions, especially among young people. This novel was inspired by these and numerous other incidents of this kind.

  1. Could you elaborate on your writing process? Do you have any special rituals or a set schedule that you follow to help you enter the creative flow?

[Girish]: As I started the novel, it occurred to me that readers shouldn’t feel as though they’ve wasted their time because time is so precious in today’s world, for both parents and children. As such, it was imperative that each page of the book be interesting. We had the screenplay read by my family and friends to see how the book resonates and whether it’s truly serving the purpose for which it was intended because it was crucial for me to establish a connection with today’s parents and teenagers. We read it aloud several times when we finished writing it, trying to make each paragraph engaging and guaranteeing a smooth transition from beginning to end.

  1. Your book features a cast of distinctly unique and endearing characters. Did they come from your imagination alone, or are they based on real people?

[Girish]: The majority of the characters in the book are imagined versions of real people who have been shaped and molded to have more impact. As required by Teenz-O-Sutra, they are united in the same story despite coming from different backgrounds.

  1. Your book explores [a particular topic or problem]. What inspired you to investigate this issue, and what ideas or conversations do you want readers to have after reading your writing?

[Girish] – Children’s tolerance and resilience have decreased in this internet-age where nearly every youngster has a mobile phone. This is due to overindulgence in video games and other digital content as well as overprotective parenting. As a result, if they are exposed to negative influences or don’t have any pals, they are more likely to pick up bad habits. A few of these worries became the driving force behind my writing, circling around in my thoughts all the while. With any luck, this book will make kids and parents aware of these kinds of things and encourage conversation about them. Nevertheless, despite this awareness, a lot of parents frequently ignore their children’s shifting moods because of their hectic schedules. It’s imperative that you pay close attention to what they have to say and stay in constant contact.

  1. The world-building in your book is very detailed and captivating. What steps did you take to create the environment, and were there any historical events or real-world locales that you found inspiring?

[GIrish] – I used real-life situations that I have either participated in or experienced in some way as inspiration for Teenz-O-Sutra’s setting. I aimed to authentically convey to readers the essence of contemporary adolescent life. Using a variety of cultural influences and socioeconomic contexts, I created a scenario that reflects the difficulties that today’s parents and teenagers experience. My goal in incorporating these various elements into the story was to give readers a deep and engaging experience that would connect with their own feelings and experiences.

  1. As a writer, how do you strike a compromise between the genre’s expectations and the requirement for originality? Did you face any difficulties interpreting well-known components in your own way?

[Girish] – It’s a fine dance for writers to strike a balance between creativity and genre norms. With Teenz-O-Sutra, I wanted to bring new life to the well-known genre of teenage narrative while maintaining a level of maturity that would satisfy their parents as well. I felt it was crucial to provide readers with something fresh and intriguing while still living up to the genre’s expectations. This required striking a sometimes difficult balance between uniqueness and tradition. I had to use my imagination to add my own special touch to well-known components without deviating too much from the aspects that make the genre so cherished. I wanted to write a narrative that felt fresh and authentic to the spirit of juvenile fiction, so I carefully considered how to develop original themes and character interactions.

  1. The story’s well-crafted pacing keeps readers interested from beginning to end. Could you describe how you keep the story moving forward and keeping tension high?

[Girish] – I used deliberate pace to make sure Teenz-O-Sutra held the attention of readers from beginning to end. In order to keep readers interested in the story’s development, I carefully balanced the narrative’s tension-building scenes with its ending. I wanted to develop a dynamic rhythm that would keep readers’ attention throughout by switching between scenes full of activity and quieter, contemplative ones. I also carefully considered how the story flowed, creating seamless chapter transitions to keep the reader’s interest. I was able to maintain suspense and keep readers interested in the story until the very end because to my thoughtful pacing strategy.

  1. How do you see the function of conventional storytelling changing in the age of quickly evolving media and reader preferences? How do you modify your writing to appeal to modern audiences?

[Grish] – It’s important to keep up with the latest ideas and advances and make an effort to put the needs of your audience first if you want to connect with anyone. Then, making use of one’s expertise and experiences as well as making an effort to discover other options are advantageous. You can connect with readers when you truly adore each character in your novel. We can improve on conventional storytelling in this way. To do this, it will take ongoing efforts to interact with more individuals in real life and gain an understanding of their mental health.
