Price of LPG

Fastag e-KYC

National Highway Authority of India has made Fastag E-KYC mandatory. For those users who have not completed e-KYC for Fastag, their Fastag will be deactivated from February 1.

Fastag e-KYC has been made mandatory because there are many duplicate Fastags in the market. The decision of e-KYC has been taken to prevent such frauds.

Dhan Lakshmi FD Scheme

Punjab & Sind Bank had launched a special FD scheme for its customers. The name of this scheme is Dhan Laxmi 444 Day FD.

The last date for investment in this is 31 January 2024. The tenure of this FD is 444 days. The bank gives 7.4 percent interest on this and 8.05 percent interest to super seniors.

Sovereign Gold Bond

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will release the last tranche of Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) for the financial year 2023-24 in February. This series will open on 12th February and will close on 16th February. Let us tell you that this is Series-4 (SGB Series-4).

The last series opened on 18 December 2023. In this series, the price of gold was fixed at Rs 6,199 per gram.

NPS Withdrawal

The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has issued a circular in January. In this, 25 percent amount will no longer be withdrawn under the National Pension System (NPS).

Apart from this, PFRDA has directed that now customers can make partial withdrawal only for purchasing or construction of a house. This rule will come into effect from 1 February 2024.

IMPS Money Transfer

At present, there is no need to visit banks to transfer money from one bank account to another. They can transfer money online in a few minutes. IMPS is also a very good option to transfer money.

Now from February 1, 2024, users can transfer money by simply adding the receiver’s mobile number and bank account name.

According to National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), after this rule, beneficiary and IFSC code will not be required to transfer money to the customer.
